Spoilt For Choice...

...or even 'Spoiled For Choice'.

Isn't it amazing how quickly we accumulate photographs.  Well, I thought
it might be a good idea to have a little clear out.  Since we went to
Monks Kirby yesterday to visit family, I decided to
use these photos taken in May, this year.

Above is the road we use to enter the village.
If you look to your right,
you will see open fields and the view below.

PS: Looks like British folk use the word 'spoilt'
and Americans go for 'spoiled'.  How about that!

It is VERY pretty there. I know what you mean about clearing out excess photos. If I stopped taking photos tomorrow, I would still have enough to keep the blog going until 2113.

These confirm my suspicions as to the English countryside in the spring months. I like! 'Tis idyllic.

Such beautiful countryside!!! Interesting how even the countryside of England has look very different from the US countryside...a bit more romantic...I expect to see one of Jane Austen's characters walking amid the landscape!!!

It's green. England, that is. Not everywhere but a lot of it. I always notice it more when I come back from trips elsewhere. That road used today is a regular road and that is an honest look of what I think is quite the norm. Thank you for you lovely comments.

As to abundance of photos....I am going crazy with all the ones I have got. It is going to take time to sort them all out eventually :).

What a very lovely entrance into Monks Kirby Lauren..you really can't beat English villages for pretty. They've had many hundreds of years practice :)
